Classes & Workshops

Our Classes and Workshops are designed for all levels of experience: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced and are on a rotating basis so you may sign up at any time. Sign-Up Forms are available at the store. Private Instruction by appointment only. Materials required can be purchased during class. Space is limited, so please reserve early.

Knitting Classes

Beginner Knitting This is the class for absolute beginners. Learn to knit, purl, cast on/off, increase and decrease, read a pattern. Students will have a choice of several popular knitting projects.

Intermediate/Advanced Knitting You will learn how to follow a pattern, how to make cables, learn advanced techniques for casting on, increasing, decreasing, binding off and finishing. Completion of Beginner Knitting Class or basic knitting skills required. Students will have a choice of several popular knitting projects.

Crochet Classes

Beginner Crochet Learn the basics of crochet: Chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, post stitches, increase, decrease, and bind off. You’ll also learn how to read a pattern, understand abbreviations and how to do basic finishing. Students will have a choice of several popular crochet projects.

Intermediate/Advanced Crochet In this comprehensive class you’ll learn to: chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, post stitches, increase, decrease, and bind off. You’ll also learn how to read a pattern, understand abbreviations, how to do basic finishing. Students will have a choice of several popular crochet projects. This class will prepare you for projects such as afghans, sweaters, baby blankets, shawls and more.

Beginning & Intermediate Spinning Classes

Learn to spin yarn on a spinning wheel.
